I have recently developed a new show, 'La langue de Molière VERSUS la langue de Shakespeare'; a full stand-up comedy show exploring the two languages, English/French mutual suspicion and stereotyping, and facts (and fiction) behind two of the nations' greatest writers.
Performed in French (with a little bit of English), the show premiered in June 2023 in the medieval village of Palalda, as part of the Printemps de Palalda festival.
As Shakespeare said when he first saw the show "it is a sweet comedy"
Second performance has been booked for Saturday 23rd September in the outdoor courtyard at the old military hospital in Amélie-les-Bains
Now available for bookings - in French or English - at festivals or stand-alone shows. I am also available for shorter slots on comedy bills in either/both languages.
